Rapper's Delight

This was a fun project to work on for me particularly because my friends and I would ALWAYS rap this song with each other throughout middle school and high school. I think it is such a fun beat to listen to, and even more fun to produce yourself and rap along to. First, I used audiotool  to compile the drumbeat followed by the bass line.  The TR-808 drum computer is very easy to use, and the chart provided in D2L allowed me to add in the funky beat with ease.  Next, I used the Tb-303 Bassline synthesizer to create the bass part. This was a little more challenging because I had made a few mistakes on which numbers correspond with which note values as I was writing it out for the first time. However, when listening to the playback, it was easy to point out and fix the mistakes.  After my instrumental track was completed, I uploaded it into Soundtrap to add vocals.
