Reflection
I enjoyed looking into types of notation software that I can put to use and have my students use in the future. I think that I will eventually get a subscription to Sibelius because I love the worksheet resource and many of my friends had recommended it in the past. I also never knew about the snipping tool as a Windows user, so that will be much easier to use rather than screenshotting and cropping graphics that I would like to capture. I look forward to creating a storyboard, as it will be my first time, and I think it is a great way to begin the creative process for producing a video for the first time. It also helps with your organizational skills for compiling the video together. I had a lot of trouble navigating the video editing software because I ran into many roadblocks based on the settings of the app. Almost everything that I tried for the first time was giving me issues and had to have a setting changed in order for it to work properly as demonstrated in class. Luckily I was able to clear the air and figure out what those roadblocks were by the end of class, but hopefully more use of the app and more tutorials and inquiry from peers could help along the way.
